Did You know Thanksgiving is the leading day of the year for home fires involving cooking equipment?
The kitchen is where Thanksgiving magic happens. Unfortunately, it is also where most fires start.
In 2014, nearly four times as many home cooking fires occur on Thanksgiving as on a typical day.

It’s That Time of Year… Remind Your Tenants to Check Their Smoke Alarms
Smoke can kill. In a fire, smoke spreads fast. Most fire deaths are not caused by burns, but by smoke inhalation. Often smoke incapacitates so quickly that people are overcome and can’t make it to an exit (Source: NFPA.org). A smoke alarm gives your tenants more time to escape a fire…and the smoke, for their best chance of survival.
Protect your tenants and your property. Remind your tenants to check their smoke alarms and educate them on alarm placement, when to change the batteries, and other safety tips. Download the flyer and distribute to your tenants here.
